Games like 2048: a falling block version that plays offline

If you like 2048, you already know the best part: two equal numbers merge into one worth double, and you keep going for a bigger number. Boxes Go Wild keeps that and changes the move. Numbered crates fall one at a time, you tap the column where each one lands, and one merge can set off a chain of merges. It is free, and it plays offline, with no wifi.

The biggest change is how you plan. In 2048 you think about directions and keep the board in order. Here you think one crate at a time: where it lands, what it merges with, and whether that merge will touch the next one. The falling block puzzle guide explains the genre in more detail.

The whole game runs on your phone. You can play on a plane, on the subway or anywhere without a signal, and your coins and best score are kept. Only the live leaderboards, ads and purchases need a connection.
