Boxes Go Wild updates
Release notes for Boxes Go Wild, the number merge puzzle game, newest first. Each version lists new features, balance changes and fixes.
Version 1.0.2 · 27 October 2026
Out now on Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
- ROOF DROP: once the board reaches six rows, drops that score nothing let the PRESSURE out. When it runs dry, the gate comes down a row; score to lift it again. A warning, a red alarm at the screen edges and a creaking gate tell you it is coming, and after a roof drop, climbing back is easier.
- Boosters: prices are always on show, and one tap buys and picks. When you are short of coins and an ad is ready, the button offers the ad instead.
- A fresh announcer voice: all nineteen lines re-recorded at one level.
- Wild Card and Chain Blast no longer work on cursed crates; break the chains first.
- At most one steel crate at a time, and every new game starts from a clean board.
- Fixes and polish, including a full-width banner ad.
Version 1.0.1 · 21 October 2026
- WILD LIFT: every game starts on a low board, and your points fire the pistons that lift the launcher, up to six rows. At full height, STEAM BLAST builds up to clear the bottom row.
- A gothic machine: a gargoyle whose eyes burn on your biggest merges, a bell tower that tolls at score milestones, and a booming announcer.
- New crates: steel crates that never merge but break apart, cursed crates that arrive in chains, and new looks for every crate, with gold at 2048 and crystal beyond.
- WILD RUSH: long chains fill a gauge that doubles your points for the next 10 drops.
- A new scoring system with a multiplier for every chain step.
- COMEBACK now bursts the top three boxes of every column.
- NEXT costs less: 80 coins.
